Media

Sounds, videos and typefaces. Kept whole, beside your pictures.

Everything you collect, in one library

Drop audio, video or a font into Galleri and it is kept as the original file. Sounds draw their waveform and play right on the card, videos play under the pointer, and typefaces are set in their own type.

Sounds, videos and fonts in the grid with your pictures. Each shows what it is without being opened.

  • Play a sound from its card

Click anywhere on the waveform to start there. Starting another sound stops the first.

  • A specimen for every font

Open a font file and Galleri sets a specimen in it, titled with the family name stored in the file.

  • Video with proper controls

Skip five seconds either way, click the timeline to jump, change the speed, loop, or go full screen.

  • Record a voice note

Start it from the + menu, pause and carry on, then save it to the library as a sound.

Space, M and L. Space plays and pauses, M mutes, L loops. The controls fade while the video plays and come back when you move the mouse.

  • I for details

Opens the details panel beside the video.

  • Five seconds either way

The buttons beside play skip back and forward five seconds.

  • Speed and loop

Sounds start at the last speed you set, and loop if you left loop on.

Questions.
About media.

Sounds, videos and typefaces, in the same library and the same grid as your pictures.

No. Each is kept as the original file you dropped in. The waveform, the video’s frames and the type specimen are drawn from it.

Yes. Voice notes are recorded from the + menu: pause, go on, and keep it. They are saved as WAV, so you can jump to any point in them.

So the grid stays quiet while you browse: they play without sound under the pointer. Open one for its sound and the full player.

Its name, its tags and the notes you write on it are all searched, and a smart folder can gather every sound for you as you add them.

Stop losing references.
Keep every one in Galleri.
