The short version
- Buying Galleri gives you a licence to use it, for yourself, on your own computers.
- What you put in Galleri is yours and stays on your computer. Keeping backups is up to you.
- Monthly includes every update while you subscribe. For life keeps working forever and includes a year of updates, which you can extend.
- Keep your access code to yourself. Codes that are shared or resold can be switched off.
1.The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and legal name of the company or person (“Galleri”, “we”, “us”) for the Galleri app, the Save on Galleri for Chrome extension and this website. By downloading, installing or using any of them, you accept these terms. If you use Galleri for an organisation, you accept them on its behalf. To buy Galleri you must be 18, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
2.Your licence
When you buy Galleri we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it on the computers you own or control, for personal or professional work. We keep ownership of the software; you are buying the right to use it, not the software itself.
A licence belongs to one person. You may install it on as many of your own computers as you like, but you may not share your access code, or use one licence for a team. Confirm: is a team licence or a transfer ever allowed?
3.Plans
- 3.1Monthly
- A subscription billed every month. It includes the full app and every new version for as long as it is active. You can cancel at any time, online and with no fee, and it stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. What happens when it ends: does the app stop, or keep the last version?
- 3.2For life
- One payment. The versions you get keep working forever. It includes every new version released in the year after you buy it. After that year you keep every version released during it, and you can extend your updates whenever you like.
- 3.3Extended updates
- For owners of a For life licence: 6 months or a year of new versions. It starts the day your current updates end, or on the day you buy it if they have already ended.
Founder and friend licences are given by us and include updates with no end date.
4.Updates
Galleri checks for updates on its own, downloads the ones your licence includes and installs them the next time you quit.
A version released after your updates have ended will not open. Galleri tells you so and offers the newest version your licence covers, which you can keep using for as long as you like.
We work to keep Galleri running well on the systems we list on this website, but we do not promise that every future version of Windows or macOS will be supported, or that any particular feature will be kept.
5.Payment and prices
Payments are taken by payment processor, which may act as the seller of record and add taxes that apply where you live. Prices are shown before you pay. We may change prices for the future; a change never affects what you have already paid for, and a subscription price only changes after we have told you in advance.
6.Refunds
Your refund policy, e.g. “If Galleri is not right for you, write to us within 14 days of buying it and we will refund you in full.”
This does not limit any right to cancel or get a refund that the law of your country gives you. In Brazil, you can withdraw from an online purchase within 7 days of it and get back everything you paid, by writing to contact email.
7.Your access code
Your licence is your email together with an access code. Keep the code private: anyone who has it can use your licence. If you think someone else has it, write to us and we will issue a new one.
We may switch off a licence that has been shared, resold, used to get around the licence check, obtained by fraud, or charged back. Where it is fair to, we will tell you first and give you a chance to explain.
8.Your content
Everything you save or write in Galleri is yours. It stays on your computer and we claim no rights over it.
You are responsible for what you save. Pictures and pages on the web belong to the people who made them; saving something for reference does not give you the right to publish or sell it. Follow the law and the terms of the sites you save from.
9.Backups
Your library exists only on your computer, so only you can keep it safe. Galleri can write backups, but we have no copy of your library and cannot restore it if your computer, or your files, are lost or damaged. Keep backups, ideally on a second drive.
10.What you may not do
- share, sell, rent or give away access codes, or the app in a form that gets around its licence;
- break, bypass or disable the licence check, or help anyone do so;
- copy, modify or redistribute the app, except as the law expressly allows;
- reverse engineer or decompile it, except where the law allows this despite these terms;
- use Galleri to break the law or anyone’s rights.
11.Other software and services
Galleri includes open-source software, each part under its own licence; the list is in the app. Some features rely on other services, such as Hugging Face for the search model, GitHub for updates, and Spotify or Apple Music for song cards. Their own terms apply to them, and we are not responsible if they change or stop.
12.No warranty
We make Galleri with care, but it is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms: not that it will be free of errors or never lose data, nor that it will suit a particular purpose.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived, including the legal warranty against defects and the other rights under Brazil’s Consumer Protection Code.
13.Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost work or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for Galleri in the 12 months before it. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or wilful misconduct, nor, if you are a consumer in Brazil, any liability the Consumer Protection Code does not allow to be limited.
14.Ending this agreement
You can stop using Galleri at any time. If you seriously break these terms we may end your licence; if that happens you must stop using the app. Your content stays on your computer either way.
15.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add a plan or a feature. We will change the date at the top, and tell you in advance on this website and in the app’s changelog if a change matters. Changes never take away what you have already paid for.
16.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of country, e.g. Brazil. Disputes go to the courts of city and state, unless the law gives you, as a consumer, the right to bring them where you live.
17.Contact
